River Stour: Bat Hibernacula Creation Project

The conversion of 5 no. WWII pillboxes (of 3 different designs) into Bat Hibernacula, to create year-round roosts as well as winter hibernation sites. All the boxes are located on the Suffolk side of the River Stour, around the market town of Sudbury. The project will be carried out in conjunction with a group working to convert 5 pillboxes on the Essex side of the River.
