River Stour Bat Hibernacular & Otter Project

Conversion of 5 World war II pillboxes alongside the River Stour between Lamarsh and Bures to make them suitable for the hibernation of bats by restricting access to very small apertures and the provision of “dormitory bricks” internally. The use of the pillboxes as artificial otter holts will be encouraged by making appropriate access provision.
