River Teme Fish Access Project

There are a number of barriers to fish migration on the river Teme. If the barrier at Lingen Bridge could be crossed by all fish species it would open a minimum of 40km of good quality river habitat. This would greatly increase the spawning potential for brown trout (and migratory Atlantic salmon, bullhead, eel, grayling and dace) whilst increasing the diversity within these species in this important river.
