River Yarrow Invasive Non-native Species Project

1. To engage the owners and/or site managers of landholdings supporting Wetland, Lakes and Ponds, Rivers and Woodland BAP habitats in the control and eradication of Invasive Non-native Species, including Indian (Himalayan) Balsam, Japanese Knotweed, Giant Hogweed and Rhododendron.
2. To restore sites supporting Wetland, Lakes and Ponds, Rivers and Woodland BAP habitats that have been damaged by INNS by reseeding-restocking with suitable plants/seed mix.
3. To raise awareness of INNS in the river catchment to landowners and local communities through training courses, practical work and monitoring.
