Riverhead Parkland Grasscrete, fencing and sign project, Riverhead Parish Council, Sevenoaks, Kent

This is a project to replace 50 metres of pathway at Riverhead Parkland with grasscrete. During the winter months the paths, which are heavily used by the local community, turn into a quagmire, owing to the wet conditions and current poor surface. The project also entails the replacement of the fencing along a section of the path with a more sturdy post and rail fence, as the current fencing is insubstantial and is repeatedly vandalised by local children. In addition new signage will be installed announcing the Parkland at each end of the path, which will increase the profile of the park and add to its attraction.
