Roaming Recycler in West Durham

The proposed campaign will focus on face to face contact with the public via events and workshops utilising the ‘Roaming Recycler’ bus. This method of delivery will help to overcome feelings of isolation experienced in some villages due to the lack of communication on services they receive. In addition direct contact with residents will be expanded through the use of door stepping staff. Door stepping will enable residents who to ask questions and make service suggestions on an individual basis. Door stepping staff will also be used to collect enhanced participation figures in the targeted areas
