Robertsbridge Children’s Centre: Ground Source Heat Pumps

A project for the installation of ground source heat pumps as a sustainable heating system for a new Children’s Centre in Robertsbridge. The building will be open five days a week, providing a playgroup, pre-school care, out-of-school care, holiday clubs and other educational, recreational or caring facilities for children/young people. It will also be open to the general public as a drop-in information centre. The building has been designed so that the operation of the pre-school and nursery is separate and inaccessible to the public so that the other spaces can be used by the public while these two facilities are in operation. The public will be able to use the facility as an advice drop-in and for specifically designed courses to support residents and families e.g. family learning, job seekers support, housing information. The project has already been registered with Entrust on 11/10/02 820506. All that has changed is the structure and location of the building.
