Roberttown Community Centre Roof Poject

The project aims to refurbish the main section of the roof of Roberttown Community Centre to prevent further damage to the building’s fabric and secure its use as a hub for village activities for the foreseeable future.
The Centre was built in the 1860s and was the village school until 1970, when it was sold to Roberttown Youth and Community Association (a registered charity) for use as a community centre. The Trustees are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building and have made significant investment in the interior of the building over the last 5 years. This is in danger of being damaged or destroyed because of the poor state of the roof.
