Roberttown Village Community Centre, Liversedge – Refurbishment (5631/D)

The project is for phase 1 which will see the current timber/glazed south east entrance to the Centre demolished and a new extension constructed. This extension will have a new, ramped entrance and contain a large storage room specifically for the Pre-school equipment. A new door would be made to this room direct from the main hall enabling the equipment to be packed away each night. The lounge could then be renovated and marketed as a separate meeting room. In addition to this new storage room, new fully-accessible toilets are to be provided to supplement the existing run-down facilities which are currently located in an inconvenient position at the rear of the building.

The Veolia grant is a contribution towards weather proofing and structural work.
