Rochdale Mayfield ARLFC – Sewage Treatment & Drainage

There has a massive increase in the participation of women and girls in rugby league. As a consequence of this we are now struggling for changing facilities. we are looking to construct a new changing block and accompanying waste water disposal. This first phase will be for the sewage work.
Funding will be towards the sewage treatment plant
The club is currently running around 19 rl teams including 2 girls and a women’s team. Currently we have a situation where kids are getting changed in cars and we are in danger of losing players. Before changing rooms can be added upgraded sewage and drainage is required.
We currently have a septic tank for our foul waste disposal. The tank is next to our gym by our main pitch. On either side of the tank there is terracing where spectators stand. Quite often for reasons that nobody seems to understand or can cure, there are terrible smells which emanate from the septic tank area.
