Romano Park, Ingleby Barwick – Landscape for Play

Romano Park is a new park proposed for Ingleby Barwick. Situated behind Tesco and Myton Park School the park will be 5.2ha in size and have a number of exciting original features, including a new ‘Landscape for Play’ that embraces the latest thinking in play provision and landscape design.
The Landscape for Play space will be diverse mixture of play equijpment intergrated with an invigorating and stimulating landscape that provides a play space on children’s own terms.
The area will balance risk and benefit, provide a space that genuinely reflects the needs and wishes of children, young people and the wider community and provides challenging and rewarding play opportunities.
The play equipment will be of mixed materials including steel, timber stone etc will be chosen by members of the local comunity and located according to designs informed by the children of Ingleby Barwick.
