Roof refurbishment

The Wollaton Sports Association (WSA) is a community-run group, comprising of 4 amateur sports clubs, serving Wollaton and the surrounding areas. We are a registered Community Amateur Sports Club and are a registered Environmental Body (Entrust).

In late 2011, we were awarded £50k by Sport England (SE), via the Inspired Facilities (Olympic legacy) fund & that money was spent on major refurbishments to our pavilion. Since then, our roof has developed major problems on one side & is leaking so much (during heavy rain) that damage is being done to parts of the pavilion that were refurbished using SE funding. £5,000 would be enough to repair it. We’ve recently had to spend money on a new security system, to prevent anti-social behaviour on the ground & significant money on tree maintenance too. In total, these came to £5k & that could have been spent on the roof. Please consider our case.
