Roof Repairs on East Middlesbrough Events Centre, Active Tees Valley (ATV)

This roofing project will deliver essential repairs to secure the building and enable continued operation of East Middlesbrough Events Centre activities. The damaged roof has led to leaks that will cause structural deterioration. During heavy rainfall there is damage to equipment and resources housed inside. By addressing these issues early, the organisation will avoid more costly repairs in the future. Additionally, maintaining the building’s condition reflects positively on ATV and the centre as a sustainable, supportive community venue. Energy efficiency will improve with roof repairs, as well as reducing the centre’s carbon footprint through heating costs. The Events Centre is not only a traditional events venue, but also home to an Eco Shop, supports a wide range of youth activities, and facilitates daytime programmes for adults with learning difficulties. The centre also offers a licensed bar service and flexible function space that hosts life celebrations, fundraising events, community gatherings, and other important local occasions. Through these services, the venue has become a key asset for the community, bringing people together and providing opportunities for engagement, support, and social connection.
