Roof Replacement Project

To install a new modern roof with proper insulation which will secure the future of Queniborough Village Hall (QVH) for our village for generations to come. The existing roof is starting to leak and lets out vast quantities of heat; a lot of black damp is evident which is perceived by users as a potential health hazard. A recent energy audit recommended a series of actions – including improving energy efficiency – key to which is replacing the roof. The project stages include removal of the existing ACM outer sheet roofing, asbestos profiled rood liners and all accessories to the complete building; the installation of composite roof sheeting; fixing treated timber battens to the existing concrete roof purlins including steel banding to prevent uplift; relining existing boundary wall gutters with liquid rubber gutter lining (10 year guarantee); and ensuring the appropriate safety equipment is used throughout the project
