Roof Restoration Project

Quinquennial survey identified the Aisle roofs as requiring urgent work to address structural failure of the lath and plaster ceilings as a result of prolonged water ingress. This is through a combination of failed metal flashings, open masonry joints and surface condensation through lack of ventilation. The lath and plaster ceilings have been removed for health and safety reasons and urgent work is now needed to carry out external repairs to prevent further damage and deterioration.
