Rose Hill Community Farm, Manchester – Regeneration Project (5786/D)

The project consists of a disused allotment site and wasteland and turning it into a useful and productive community space. The site is being cleared and requires all the necessary infrastructure and facilities to make the project a success. We are planning seating areas and flower beds, tools and equipment for on site community use, including adaptive tools. For wildlife we intend to plant hedgerows of various species, trees and shrubs to provide year round food, cover and nesting sites for wildlife. The Trust grant will contribute towards the community garden regeneration.
