Rotherhithe Reedbeds

To create 0.1 ha of new reedbeds at 4 sites throughout the Rotherhithe peninsula in the centre of London. The project will improve the biodivesirty of the area. There are a number of waterways in the area, remnants of the old canal system. Existing reedbeds in the area are limited but still support many of the species associated with reed bed. The project will make a significant comtribution to the London BAP targets for reedbeds
