Rothley Bowling Club Green Refurbishment

The lawn bowls club was founded in 1924 and is generally self-sufficient but now need to refurbish the green which has seriously deteriorated over the years, but as a small club the cost is beyond reach financially. The Club plan to employ a local company to renew the playing surface. Project works include to koro off vegetation in two passes, rotor burier complete surface and laser level to achieve level area, to dimple and drill seed in multiple passes, apply sand to remove all spoil from site then complete an aftercare program to include all mowing aerating fungicide (if necessary) and all fertiliser treatment.
