Projects / Rothwell Baptist Church Community Hall – Refurbishment

Rothwell Baptist Church Community Hall – Refurbishment

Rothwell Baptist Church comprises of 2 halls (built in 1921 and 1992) which are 2 m apart. The older main hall is in need of major refurbishment and is currently not in use. The project plans to replace the asbestos sheeting roof, rotten timber floor and single glazed windows, insulate the brick walls, install a damp proof course and put in new wiring, lighting and underfloor heating. There will also be 2 new toilets (including disabled access) and a glass link building / foyer to the second hall, where the good modern kitchen is situated. This will create one fully accessible complex with four varying sized spaces which will be made available for use by the community.
