Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes / West Cornforth Community Centre

This application request is to install a secure picnic area adjoining the Community Centre in West Cornforth. The site will be surrounded by a security fence from the front and into the football ptiches so as to protect the children from stray footballs and ensure they cannot run onto the main road. Chiildren’s play equipment will also be installed.
The site is currently untidy and derelict. Consultation was carried out with local residents and organisations and it was agreed that improvement to the outside of the Community Facility would be very beneficial and help to bring the community closer together.
Although there will be fencing around the site, with a gate the gate will not locked, allowing full access at all times.
