Roydon Common Visitor Access and Engagement

The Roydon Common Visitor Access and Engagement project will help to mitigate increasing visitor pressure on this nature reserve, in part, by enhancing access and visitor facilities on Rising Breck and on the eastern section of the common. The project will:-

• Create a purpose built car park (replacing an informal parking area) on the west side of the Common
• Provide a new network of paths across Rising Breck and new seating at appropriate locations will enable visitors to enjoy the views.
• Improve the car park and paths on the East of Roydon Common, including better links with Roydon Village and local businesses.
• Install a visitor focal point and carrstone seating area visitors and to act as a meeting point for community engagement
• Provide new orientation and interpretation
