RSPB – Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve

Improving visitor infrastructure at Frampton Marsh.

With the acquisition of 84ha of arable land at Roads Farm in 2004,adjacent to the RSPB’s existing reserve of 380ha at Frampton Marsh, there is an opportunity to create a major visitor reserve adjacent to The Wash, the UK’s most important estuary for wildlife.

Frampton Marsh will become a key destination for school parties of all ages, as it sits within easy reach of many schools in the East Midlands. The range of viewable habitats as well as the conservation importance of some of the habitats will provide an all year round visitor experience.
