Rugby Town Junior Football Club – Provision of Team Shelters

Rugby Town Junior Football Club is a community club with over 39 teams and 700 plus players including both boys and girls and a special group (a disabled group of youngsters aged 5-18). Over the past 5 years the club has planned and built new pitches, a pavillion/conference centre and a groundsmans store. It is now deemed to be the local hub for football in the Midlands, for example Shropshire and Herefordshire schools have expressed an interest in using the ground for competitions and the Football Association are considering using it for girls football matches.

The club now wishes to extend the facilities it offers in order to meet criteria imposed by the FA for the playing of competitions, ie the provision of team shelters (dugouts). These will be installed around the main, floodlit pitch and will mean that Warwickshire county youth games and Rugby and District school games can be played at the Club. It will also provide further opportunities for other county teams to play at the ground.
