Runnels Lane Park, Merseyside - Play Area Improvements (7242)

Runnels Lane Park is a small green space in Thornton, and is one of the few accessible green amenity spaces located amidst existing and newly developing housing in the area. At present the park provides very limited play, recreation, or ecological value for local people. The purpose of the project is to turn a currently underutilised piece of greenspace into an attractive multiuse park appealing to children, teenagers, older adults and dog walkers.
