Ryedale Folk Museum is building a new gallery and learning space to house a uniquely significan social history collection, the aim being to show and use this collection involving the local community and general public. The project is to install energy efficient insulation in the High Barn to assist in its conversion to a modern display space; install a public network in the new library for local and online access with software enabling information to be uploaded into an easily accessible and searchable form.
