Ryedale Folk Museum – Traditional Orchard

The project aims to create an ancient orchard within the grounds of the Folk Museum to celebrate the fruit growing heritage of the area and ensure rare varieties of fruit trees are maintained locally for future use. This will be achieved by fencing and draining the area and planting a range of fruit trees, together with provision of interpretation
