Saddlescombe Farm, Nr Brighton – Chalk Grassland Habitat Restoration (1820/DA/TP)

The Brighton Blue Butterflies Project will restore, expand and reconnect patches of fragmented and declining chalk grassland habitat near Brighton in order to conserve and increase populations of rare and threatened chalk downland butterfly species such as the small blue, chalkhill blue, adonis blue and brown argus. The Trust grant will contribute towards the restoration of the chalk grassland habitat.
