Saddleworth Cricket Bowling & Tennis Club, Oldham - Solar Panels and Apiary (008291)

The club has over the years reduced its energy consumption by replacing lighting with LED lighting and replacing its boiler with a higher efficiency one and replaced the tennis courts and bowling green floodlights with LED floodlights. The next step is to install Solar Panels that will help to reduce running costs. This will enable the organisation to enhance community well-being, promote sustainability and provide an inclusive and accessible club that continues to offer the community a club and sporting facilities that is fully accessible to all regardless of disability, race, sex, status, religion or any other background.
