Safe Haven for White-clawed crayfish

The project is to establish a new Ark site for White-clawed crayfish at Drewsteignton Quarry. The funding will enable us to complete our assessments of the site, create or enhance crayfish habitat where necessary and translocate crayfish to the site. Crayfish will be translocated from a threatened population in Devon – thus preventing the extinction of the species in the county.
