Safe outside space for hall users for Battle Memorial Hall

A great deal of work has been done to restore and extend Battle Memorial Hall, which now provides a fitting resource for the local community it serves. The hall needs to provide a safe outside area for all users. More than 70 groups use the facility and further users are expected once the outdoor space is safe and more attractive. Many hall users and prospective users have asked if there is an outside space available. The labour for laying out the patio area, concrete ramp and planting the shrubs would be free as the applicant would use the National Probation Government Lead Community Pay Back Scheme who have already agreed to carry out this work at Battle Memorial Hall.
