Saheli Centre Courtyard

The project aims to create an attractive outdoor space at an Asian women’s centre, the Saheli Connection. The centre is located in a deprived area and is a hub of activity for the Asian community, with a focus on women. Currently, the outdoor space is rundown and not suitable for people to use. The courtyard design will incorporate seating, lighting, water feature and raised beds planted with flowers, shrubs and herbs. The improvements will provide a much needed outdoor resource, a peaceful and colourful space where Asian ladies can sit and tend to the plants. The Saheli Centre is open and available to all members of the general public.
