Salmon Fields Regeneration Community Project

The project aims to regenerate and promote the safe use of an open greenspace in the Salmon fields business and industrial park through:·
– Providing a new path accessible to all members of the community, made by the community for the community
– Installation of new furniture suitable for able and less able bodied people, including bins, benches and a disabled/child friendly angling platform
– Interpretation boards constructed with local youth groups and probation service
– Construction of bird boxes with volunteers
– Wildflower planting with schools and groups
– Bulb planting with schools
– New knee rail to provide safe walkway to enable younger and more vulnerable members of the community safe access to the pond
