Saltholme Pools Rejuvenation

This project will deliver improved habitat by re-landscaping the pool areas and creating islands and spits to break up the topography. We will also install new water control structures to help control water levels and alleviate flooding. Moreover, we will refurbish the current hide by installing better sound, damp-proofing and new windows to make it feel more welcoming and provide better viewing opportunities. We also intend to install a tower infill to the hide to provide a different all weather viewing platform. Finally we hope to design and construct a pop-up hide to provide Saltholme with a portable viewing pod, which will remain on-site.
