Sanctuary Newt Pond and Geology Trail at Willsbridge LNR

Creation of a sanctuary Newt Pond. The reserve has historically supported large numbers of the European protected great crested newt (GNC), however they have declined in recent years. The pond will be created by volunteers, and to ensure that it remains in favourable condition its management will be incorporated into the Nature Reserve Management plan.
