Sandall Park, Doncaster – Junior Trim and Play Trail (50072/D)

The project aim is for The installation of equipment for children aged 2 years and upwards, catering for learning difficulties. It includes; climbing apparatus; balancing beams, and a mini slide for the tiny tots. The plan is to concentrate on exercise through natural play, with additional wooden seating for parents. This will totally enhance the Adventure Trail. The whole area will be transformed into a perfect place for children to exercise and play. Shrubs will be planted providing for insects and wildlife, and preventing youngsters entering a muddy area created by a natural spring. Low level fencing will direct parents and children to a specific entrance to avoid pedestrian and vehicular contact within the car park, and direct dog walkers and dogs away from the play area.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the juniot trim and play trail improvements.
