Satellite & Community Project

To introduce people with mental and physical disabilities to water sports on the River Tees and the white water course. To open up the canoe club & its facilities to the wider general public and local schools following consultation with British Canoeing and special needs in education educators. A successful outreach program verified demand for expansion of services on the water itself.
Purchasing dual kayaks allows supervisor/coaches to be in the canoe with disadvantaged children and adults to ensure their enjoyment & freedom and healthy living through sport.
Extra equipment enhances the clubs facilities and opens up the membership dramatically to ensure equality and diversity remains the vision and mission of introducing sport to all the community.
