The aim of this project is to ensure that the red squirrel - a much loved and endangered native species - continues to thrive in Dumfries and Galloway. The project will result in: - The establishment of Red squirrel Protection Networks to increase protection for red squirrels by focusing grey squirrel control to areas where this action is likely to have the greatest benefit - A network of motivated and supported volunteers across the area
