Saving Starbeard – Providing a Home for Barbastelle Bats in the South Cambridgeshire Forest

We wish to carry out a selection of habitat management practises in the forest to benefit Barbastelle Bats. These management practises should increase the feeding opportunities for Barbastelles and provide potential roost sites. In carrying out various woodland management techniques, we will increase the habitat for many plant and invertebrate species too, thus increasing the overall biodiversity of the Forest
