Science, Learning and Railways – 2005

The project is to establish a substantial interactive science and engineering exhibition with a learning centre. The exhibition will be accommodated in two railway coaches at Didcot Railway Centre. The facility responds to local needs and will be widely used by visitors to the Centre and Oxfordshire schools. It is being developed in partnership with local science and technology schools and seeks the involvement of several of Oxfordshires renowned technology centres. This will be a jointly funded project with the ReDiscover science programme and is due to start in March with its opening in December 2005.
