A Condition Survey and roof inspection concluded that the roof had several problems and that the roof would need replacing. In replacing the roof and adding insulation to modern standards would reduce heat loss to the atmosphere reducing energy bills. in addition the south facing roof would be ideal for photovoltaic panels which would offset the rising cost of electricity bills improving the hall’s environment balance.
