Scout and Community Sports Hall

The building will provide a permanent home for the Hillside Scout Group as well as changing rooms for the sports clubs which share the site. The Scout Hall will be available for use by the community in general when not required for scouting activities. The building has been designed by an architect specialising in the design of environmentally friendly community buildings. The design includes features for harvesting rainwater, a ground source heat pump and maximising use of natural light. The changing rooms and groundman’s store will be owned by HRAP and will be designed in accordance with Sports England Guidlines.
