Scout Headquarters, Bamford – New Build

The goal is to design and build a new and exciting Scout Headquarters to support Scouting in Bamford for many years to come. Equipped with modern facilities and technology, it will not only serve the membership for many years but will also attract new community groups to use this facility.
1) Demolition of existing building including removal of Asbestos from site by a licensed removal company.

2) Excavation, preparation of foundations, sub cavity walls, under build and reinforced ground floor slab with Damp proof course. The existing HQ building is a prefabricated structure built in the early 1970’s. It’s condition has deteriorated significantly and is in need of major work. Not proceeding with this project would lead to the group spending huge sums of money to repair a building that is not fit for purpose.
