Scout Hut Refurbishment

Somerton Scout Hut is open for Public hire as well as:
Somerton scout group which is open to all both girls and boys has 3 sections
Beavers aged 6 – 8.
Cub Scouts 8 – 10 1/2
Scouts 10 1/2 – 14.

The Hall (Hut) is badly in need of refurbishment
Firstly;
We need to replace the tables as they have been in situ for around 20 years and the legs are becoming unsafe.
It is hoped to replace the old ones with folding tables with a trolley to be able to store them safely together with benches which will take up less room than chairs.
