Scout Park, Haringey – Pond Restoration

The project will restore a currently degraded pond within Scout Park. There is currently a small population of great crested newts in a nearby pond within the park which is close enough that once the pond has been restored the population will be able to spread and increase. This work meets targets in the UK Biodiversity Action Plan for ponds, London Standing Water Habitat Action Plan and the boroughs Biodiversity Action Plans.
