Final celebration of a successful project involving Scouts and Guides in creating vital new woodland through tree planting. The aim of the project is to run a tree planting event to celebrate a successful project. At the event 100 Guides and Scouts will be involved in planting around 2000 tree at Frylands campsite in Croydon to extend the woodland at the Scouts campsite. Also on site will be various woodland activities at the event for when the Children are not planting the trees.

The project seeks to create/extend native woodland which has a number of significant biodiversity benefit. It will buffer and extend existing semi-natural habitats leading to more diverse and sustainable ecological networks; Provide shelter, feeding areas and new nesting sites for woodland species of birds and animals; Reverse fragmentation of natural woodland habitats.
