Scutchers Acres: Greening and growing for tomorrow

The project aims to improve the biodiversity of this publicly accessible Nature Reserve and increase its value as an outdoor venue for environmental education (from primary school to University and Post-grad studies). Fencing of certain areas and provision of infrastructure will allow grassland to be grazed by sheep. Events and training courses will encourage further recording and monitoring if animals and plants by volunteers, which will inform and target site management objectives.
