Seacombe Drive Park, Ellesmere Port – Park Improvements (50251/D)

The project aims to undertake a programme of improvements at Seacombe Drive park in Ellesmere Port. The site is large however it is not presently used to its full potential. The main element of work is the renovation of the play area – most of the equipment is old and broken and a number of items have been removed after they became unsafe through age. There is no seating for parents and the ground is uneven and prone to flooding. There are no pathways or hard surfacing in the play area meaning parents with prams cannot use it. The other main work will be the creation of new pathways across the site – the ground is extremely wet and boggy and lack of paths is a barrier to use for many. Effectively improving these areas are the main aims of the project.
