Seaton Backies One

This is a community project which aims to improve and encourage outdoor play/use within a regeneration area. The ‘Backies’ are at the rear of granite tenements which are at present negelected and unused, this project aims to landscape the area and provide clearly defined areas for various activities ie growing, seating and play. The community will develop during the course of the project and become empowered to make increasing use of their environment. During the course of the project there will be a continued interaction with the local schools. The local community and school children will be given the opportunity to plant flower bulbs.
