Seaton Cliffs Access Enhancements

The path through Seaton Cliffs Wildlife Reserve is a very long established route and one of the most popular walks in Angus. It forms part of the Core Path network and the Angus Coastal Path. The section of this path at Seaman’s Grave is currently closed due to a landslip caused by erosion; however, some visitors are ignoring the closure and taking a dangerous detour. In order to re-open this important section of path and ensure visitor safety, it is proposed to purchase an area of the adjacent farmland and re-locate the reserve path approximately 10m landward into the field. Fencing will also be re-instated.
