Projects / Seaton Rugby Pitch Drainage

Seaton Rugby Pitch Drainage

The aim of this project is to install drainage to the rugby pitch at Seaton. This will alleviate the problem of the pitch retaining water on or near the surface which has meant it has been unusable for games when the weather conditions are wet. The secondary aim of installing the drainage is to combat the financial impact of having to source pitches to play games or practice elsewhere due to the amount of surface water the pitch currently holds. Having the pitch available to use on a regular basis will also lead to the club developing and being able to create additional teams across all age groups. This would ultimately mean that more people were becoming involved in the game.
